Our purpose is to promote an appreciation for quilting as a traditional craft and a contemporary art form; to provide educational opportunities by presenting general meetings, speakers, workshops and other activities related to quilt making; to preserve and perpetuate the tradition of quilt making in the County of Strathcona and to encourage an appreciation of this heritage.
September's Speaker is none other than CQA President Kathy Strawson. She will be entertaining us with her delightful presentation, I Quilt, therefore I Belong!
November's Speaker will be Creative Quilt Artist Kim Caskey. Kim's Rhapsody Quilts Lecture is sure to inspire us all. Followed by a possible two day workshop in December!
